Travel Cards:
The Foreign Currency denominated International Travel Prepaid card is an alternative to Foreign currency and traveler’s checks, in view of its wider acceptance at all Master Card affiliated ATMs for cash withdrawals and at Merchant locations.

Consumers who are unable or prefer not to use credit or debit cards for their travel expenses may opt the Prepaid cards for its highly secured, hassle free issuance and convenience of usage.

Our International Travel Prepaid Card Product is designed with the unique considerations of the traveling consumer in mind. The Tech savvy utilities, Value Added Services, best-in-class programs, the Risk and fraud mitigation measures will have a competitive differentiation advantage over other programs in the market.

The International Travel Prepaid cards are issued initially, at our Select Forex Branches, in USD. The Euro and GBP cards in a Chip based environment are issued in due course.

Features of our Travel cards
  1. The usage of cards are permitted for cash withdrawals and POS only
  2. The Internet and IVR (Mobile/Phone) payment transactions shall be enabled subsequently with an option to the cardholder, as per RBI guidelines
  3. No charges for Balance enquiry at any Andhra Bank ATM
  4. SMS alerts for all transactions to the registered Mobiles with International call receive facility

Norms for issuance of International Travel Prepaid cards:

  • Resident Individuals with age above 18 years
  • KYC documents are insisted for Non customers.
  • International Travel Prepaid cards are issued to any corporate, for further distribution to their employees, customers etc., after satisfying KYC norms of concerned individuals maintained by them. However, such corporate entity to be a listed member of any stock exchanges in India.
  • Initial loading is USD 200 and maximum load as per FEMA guidelines; However, minimum re-loadable value is USD 100
  • The individual/corporate should not be a defaulter under any FEMA guidelines
  • 25% extra charges are collected on all fees from the Non customers

The necessary Documents in a prescribed Application is to be submitted at our specified Branches for purchase of International Travel cards.

Terms and conditions:

  • An individual can have only ONE card in the respective Foreign currency
  • The Non Personalised and Non transferable cards issued
  • The card is Reloadable with validity period of TWO years
  • Cash Withdrawal is permitted in the upcountry ATM at local currency only
  • Fees/Charges are not refundable under any circumstances
  • No interest is paid on the outstanding balance in the card account
  • No overdraft is allowed for Travel Card Account under any circumstance
  • Travel Cards are not enabled for manual key entry transactions and Offline MOTO (Money Order or Telephonic Order), internet gambling usage, installment payments, Direct Debit transactions, Pre-Authorisation bookings at Hotels etc.,.
  • The card cannot be used for any remittances for which the release of exchange is not permitted under the regulations.
  • Card shall not be used for the purposes which are against Law and Public Policy.

The customer friendly like the system driven Interactive Voice Response and the internet Customer care, a self operable system for accessing the card account is provided in our website under Prepaid card-Customer self care.
