Appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer of Andhra Bank by Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India in consultation with Central Vigilance Commission w.e.f. 16.06.2017.

He is a Commerce Graduate (B.Com.) and has done M.B.A in Finance and CAIIB. He started his Banking career in 1983 as a Probationary Officer in erstwhile State Bank of Travancore (Now State Bank of India). During his career in a span of 34 years, he had handled various key assignments including Corporate Credit, MSME, Retail Operations, Treasury and International Banking, Technical Consultancy Cell, Alternative Delivery Channels, and Parabanking viz. Credit Card, Mutual Fund, Life Insurance in association with operations in SBI Card, SBI Life and SBI Mutual Fund.

He worked as Dy. CEO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SBI Singapore for a period of 5 years (2008 to 2013) and associated with launching of Retail Operations in Singapore . Before joining Andhra Bank as CVO, he worked as General Manager ( International Banking Group) , Corporate Centre, SBI.
