Andhra Bank One Unified Payments Interface (UPI)

In order to promote cashless transactions and move towards hassle free payments or digital money and ultimately increase financial inclusion, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched world’s first unique payment system requiring just a single unique identifier to make transaction called as Unified Payments Interface (UPI). UPI is a channel that powers multiple bank accounts into a single mobile application. UPI facilitates 'virtual address' as a payment identifier for sending and collecting money between any two parties without knowing the recipient's name, bank account number,IFSC code or Aadhaar number. Virtual Payment Address (xxxx@andb) is a virtual identity like an email address, name, phone number etc. which will be mapped with your mobile phone.

BHIM App (Bharat Interface for Money) is a an initiative which is taken to make cashless India. Andhra Bank is also enabled in BHIM and customers of Andhra Bank can also use BHIM App. It is a Mobile App developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), based on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI).
